Gift Aid

Every gift counts - regardless of size

We hope that you will consider making a gift to the West Buckland School Foundation. All gifts, regardless of size, will make a valuable contribution to the development of the School. Gifts of Shares

The Gift of shares is most tax efficient for the donor both in terms of Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax. The Development Director will be happy to discuss this with you.

Company Gifts

The value of a gift by a company can be offset against the company's highest rate of Corporation Tax.

A Gift of Land or Property

Gifts of Leasehold or Freehold property are tax deductable.

Payroll Giving

Any amounts can now be given using the Payroll Giving Scheme whereby you authorise your employer to deduct payment from your salary before calculating PAYE tax. The Government currently pays 10% on top of all payroll giving donations. Please contact your employers for further information and forward this to the Development Director.

Corporate Matching Schemes

Many businesses offer Matching Gift Programmes for employees. Most programmes match donations on a gift by gift basis. Please contact your employer for further information and then contact the Development Director.
